Re: My New Long Distance Service Provider
I was looking for American Eagle 7.62x51 168gr M1A. I requested notification at Grab a gun for when it was in stock, and I watched for it at SGAmmo. It arrived at SGAmmo and I ordered ten boxes. A couple of days later I got the notification from Grab a gun. I could have saved $6 per box if I had known earlier.

Well, just consider it an extra $60 for the privilege of bird in hand vs. bird in the bush. I've had two in-stock notifications over the past several weeks, and both times I got to the website within an hour of the email landing. And both times they were sold out again already. In this market, I say better to have the sure thing.TxRVer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 11:26 amI was looking for American Eagle 7.62x51 168gr M1A. Thanks for making me feel better about the extra expense.Rafe wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 1:20 pmWell, just consider it an extra $60 for the privilege of bird in hand vs. bird in the bush. Re: My New Long Distance Service Provider
I've never used it, but I liked the reviews I saw. I also did some reading about recommended bullet weight. It seems the M1a doesn't handle weights above 170 gr very well.

I bought it with that stock for function mostly but I gotta say I love the look too. I like having the adjustable LOP and adjustable cheek rest height. Also I do have ammo for it.
