"Release the Kraken" ???

Sydney Powell is a very accomplished attorney, serving as lead counsel in over 500 cases in the 5th district court. She's on Trump's legal team. In this interview with Lou Dobbs, she talks about the Dominion software. According to Powell, it was CREATED in Venezuela for Hugo Chavez, funded by Venezuela and Cuba. The specific purpose of the software is to provide a "back door" for someone to go in and alter voting data. This is how Chavez won his election, even though most of his country was ready to hang him. It has reportedly been used in several countries to elect unpopular leaders.

Powell says she has proof of all of this and more, and it will turn over our current election results. She describes it as "release the kraken." She is totally confident in her case, and told another interviewer, "I never say anything I can't prove."

Several times now we've heard some earthshaking revelation about vote fraud in this election, but it seems like they always fizzle out. But if this one goes through, it'll create a political holocaust; the libs will burn down the country. Thoughts?

I'm not going to hold my breath for help from the FBI judging by past performance. But, I am going to keep everything I have crossed that this lady can make this blow up in the Democratic leadership's faces. Bring on the Kraken.

They may actually end up fizzling out, depending on what happens in the courts. For example, they may clearly show that the software was created under Chavez, has a "back door," etc. etc. but they might not be able to show that it happened in THIS election, even though this software was used. Something like that.

I'm not holding my breath, but my fingers are crossed.

I do not think anything will change this election's results. They have already shown where Dominion software changed votes in this election, but it was described as a "glitch" and they were corrected.

The real problem lies in what are the possible solutions if they prove there is fraud. In lower level cases, the courts historically have either declared the election null and ordered a new one, or in rare instances declared a winner. I cannot see either of these happening in this election. The way our system is set up, the electoral college is the actual election, so if they declare this one invalid, it would be up to the states to convene their legislatures to pick the electors and tell them how to vote. I think the best we could hope for is that the court will declare the elections in some states null and void and the legislatures would pick the electors. I think that would still give Biden the win because they are not states that are controlled by Republicans. If it doesn't give Biden the win outright, then we could only hope for no majority in the electoral college and the house deciding who wins. I think Trump would win that but I am not sure.

This is the real problem. Even if Trump wins his lawsuits, what can the court do to solve the problem before the December 14 Electoral College vote?

MSNBC - Ummm did you guys see anything happen?
CNN - Trump paid the Proud Boys to riot during the elections in an attempt to overturn the elections!
ABC - Cornavirus is rampant we need President Biden to take office early!
CBS - President Joe on course for winning re-election before he takes office!
NYT - Trump only paid 750 in taxes he must be investigated and jailed!

I will eat my hat if they report anything other than their stream of lies.

Politically, Trump losing is a Godsend for the GOP provided that it continues to hold the Senate. Trump's electoral performance was absolutely capped at 49%, and all the Dems had to do to win was run someone less despised than HRC. The Dems finally figured out they all they had to do was run AGAINST Trump. That strategy worked and now they have the White House, hold a shrinking majority in the House, still won't have the Senate, and are at a 6-3 disadvantage in the USSC.

There are now 4 enormous issues for the Dems.
1) Their one rallying point was Trump. Trump is now going to go be rich somewhere outside of politics, pausing only to make fun of Biden/Harris on Twitter and New Conservative Twitter. The unifying policy objective of the Democratic party is now one retired guy.

2) The loss of Trump as a rally point has left the two divisions with the Democratic party to turn on one another. The centrists don't want to move left to meet the socialists because they are not crazy.

3) A GOP Senate and USSC will force compromise which will greatly exacerbate problem 2. Pelosi will compromise to get things passed. AOC will just say crazier things on Twitter. This feeds into 4.

4) The US economy has not been healthy since 2000. We're in the 3rd debt bubble since the dot com bust, but the stagnation of real wages has left the apparent economic success in the form of capital gains for the relatively tiny group of people who own stock. The economic policies of Bush 2, Obama and Trump are indistinguishable, and all 3 contributed to the mess that we are in now. The situation is dangerously close to the late 1970s, which ended with a stagflationary recession. The solution to that problem is VERY high interest rates until inflation dies down (people got 12% mortgage rates in the early 1980s on top of 10% inflation). VERY few businesses can withstand those rates right now, and the inflation will prevent QE or any fall in interest rates until it abates. If the Trump administration oversaw that process, it would very likely lead to a Blue Wave and large scale socialist policies. If Biden and a Dem House oversee that collapse, the GOP has the opportunity to lay blame a the feet of the socialism that we already have (which is where the blame belongs).

I think that the Biden/Harris presidency will mirror Carter's. The GOP needs to start looking NOW for a strong an inclusive leader who speaks to people where they are. Trump's great strength was speaking to working people who just wanted to feel like they had a chance to get ahead. That's not unique to Donald J. Trump, whose manifold personal failings ultimately undid him. The GOP needs to look for a Ronald Reagan to run in 2024, and has an opportunity to repeat 1980 if they find him or her.

True, much to my chagrin. I think Trump is a classic case of "his heart was in the right place, but..." Specifically, Trump is not articulate. He doesn't read daily intelligence updates (he watches TV instead), he doesn't speak effectively, or anything requiring the slightest degree of wordsmithing. Many, many times I've heard him say something and thought, "Oh, crap, WHY did he say that????!!!" Then you have his horrific performance in the first debate. He's just not a verbal person. We often talk of Biden screwing up every time he tries to speak. Sometimes I think it's the same thing with Trump, but in a different way.

While I agree that Trump has a unique way to communicate to put it lightly I am not buying that that undid him. He did get a record 72+ million votes, more than any “R” candidate. If he is in fact finished for 2020, then what “undid” him was the communist media along with their domestic and foreign enemies of the State cohorts who seek to destroy us all.

Absolutely - I wasn't insinuating that his lack of articulateness was the sole reason for his undoing. The media had the primary role in that, IMHO.

Anyway...... just "release the kraken" already, we're tired of waiting, we're tired of "false alarms."

Agreed. All the noise about evidence of corruption and fraud without supporting data kind of remind me of Microsoft product announcements…

I'm still waiting for HRC to do the perp walk in the orange pantsuit.
I expect continued disappointment on that front.
I expect the Kraken will be similarly disappointing.

Maybe....... Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to oversee 4 years of investigation into Biden pay for play with Ukraine, Russia and China? After all, he did proudly admit, on video, to withholding $1B from Ukraine unless they stopped a prosecutor from investigating Burisma.

As of 10:25 yesterday morning, according to Powell, the kraken are getting restless. OK, well, we're ready when you are.

I am not a legal genius (or any genius for that matter) and I fail to see a benefit of coming onto a large platform with such a decisive and bold statement only to then wait days or longer to actually do something, make a move. To me, that only serves as a potential warning shot to the enemy. Something like this I’d say either say nothing and dump the evidence forward or say something just as you are maybe hours at most from presenting overwhelming evidence. I don’t see the strategy here. Am I off?
