Yeah, but now it's all over the news and the internet where it will live forever!Grundy1133 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 9:39 pm so much for your 1st amendment. i'd leave it up. and if they made me take it down sue the pants of someone for violating my 1st amendment rights.
The company that owns the board decided it didn't want it up, this has nothing to do with the 1st amendment.Grundy1133 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 9:39 pm so much for your 1st amendment. i'd leave it up. and if they made me take it down sue the pants of someone for violating my 1st amendment rights.
gotcha. i figured it was some 3rd party group. the owner of the sign can do what he wants with it. shame that the libtard mentality has invaded so much in Texas.... I always saw Texas as the last safe haven from all the insane disease ridden ideals that comifornia and floriduh hold onto... i guess even our state is in danger huh...ReverseTurtle wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 10:20 pmThe company that owns the board decided it didn't want it up, this has nothing to do with the 1st amendment.Grundy1133 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 20, 2018 9:39 pm so much for your 1st amendment. i'd leave it up. and if they made me take it down sue the pants of someone for violating my 1st amendment rights.
Actually it does. "Burkett Outdoor Advertising, the company that owns the billboard, said it was taking down the sign amid the uproar."
That is still not a 1st Amendment issue. You are not protected from public uproar caused by the things you say. You are not protected from companies breaking ties with you due to that uproar.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 12:25 amActually it does.
