I hate when there a lot of activity around like that, I'm lucky in that I know several LEO'S in the area and can usually get the 411 if somethings happening close by.

Well, the search moved West about two miles so I assume the area is clear. My wife and I will be 70 in July and we live in a semi-rural area. I don’t feel like playing hostage tonight so I will keep the hardware within reach until morning.

I used to be one.

All is quiet this morning. Heard the helicopter go over a few more times. We probably will never know what was going on because we live in a rural area.

Thanks for keeping us posted, and relieved that last night was quiet. Are there any news stories about all the activity on local radio or TV stations?

I do the same thing when there's that kind of activity in the neighborhood, but with an M4 instead of a shotgun. So far, thankfully, each of mine has ended the same way yours did. Oh, and all the outside lights go on.

The 12 gage has an 18" barrel and I keep 3” mag, 000 buck in it.

Sounds like what I saw this morning as I was putting together my new reloading bench here in San Antonio.
