Forum breakfast

#1

Post by LDB415 »

One of the motorcycle forums I frequent has a "Tuesday morning breakfast" group that surprisingly enough meets for breakfast on Tuesday mornings. I wondered if there'd by any interest in an other than Tuesday morning breakfast in the Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake area among other retired and/or flexible members of this forum.

Depending upon location and time I would be in for at least once a month. I cant make every week because I am still working for the man ;)

It's open to any and all suggestions at this point so throw out all you have. I'm very rush hour averse now that I'm retired so I'm going to stick with the Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake, South Houston corridor. It could be set up with a weekly schedule rotating around the area so it's only once a month in a given quadrant.

It could be this area the first Thursday of the month, Sugarland southwest Houston the second Thursday, northwest 290 the third and Spring-Humble arc the fourth or some variation of time/location to bring it to an area to allow the most guys to attend.

I'm in but the only day I could do it is Friday. Since I start work at 0500 I doubt anyone would want to meet before I go to work.....

Would lunch be an option? That might let more people come.

We already do the Mexican lunch after skeet here in Dallas. You start adding breakfasts, and you'll all be as fat as I am.

I thought breakfast as it would get the day started and everyone would then have all day to do whatever they chose but anything is fine with me based on whatever the majority chooses.

I'm interested. I'm not retired, and live inside the loop; so it'd have to be a central location for me to make it during the week.

I'd be interested in a breakfast in the Humble area. Fridays are best for me because I very often travel during the rest of the week.

Weekends would allow for more location flexibility...

My wife and I live in Hewitt (central Texas) but would stop by for breakfast in we are in the area and know about it. I think it is a great idea. I would prefer breakfast over lunch, starting your day with coffee, breakfast, with friends is a great idea.
