The fixed blade knife I'd like to find has a full length blade tang. Length about 4.5" to 5.3". No more than 5.5". The preferred blade material is carbon steel. Although I would consider harder steels. If possible a budget price would be
Nice. The knife purpose is for hunting/survival/defense.

The CRKT site says this is no longer manufactured, and cost $89 when it was. However, it actually sold retail for around $30 when I bought one, and retailers still have them.

At the time I post this, there are a bunch on eBay, and they go for about $25 plus shipping, which makes them around $33.

Not inexpensive, but a really good knife that will last you a lifetime.
