After firing the Rice officer that responded to 'Officer Down, Call for Help' incident a few months ago - the top two officials in Rice Police resign:

The University says the controversy played no part.

Chief Taylor testified a few years ago against guns on campus - saying essentially that his officers are trained to shoot the guy with the gun.

Edited Typo.

Well, bye. So sorry to see you go. Oh, and as an aside: Your lousy training of your officers is no excuse to infringe upon my rights. :???: Besides, does he really think a CHL holder is going to still have a gun out waving it around when the cops respond 15-20 minutes after the first report? By then the CHL holder will have either taken care of the bad guy, or gotten shot by said bad guy. Kind of doubt there will be any pistol waving left for your officers to look at.
