Beer Vs Gas... which is worth more?
This was a discussion at work the other day, and being a geek I had to break out my calculator and do some figurin'. Since I'm sure we'll continue to see gas prices rise dramatically in the next few months, I wrote a little website calculator that lets you conveniently compare the price of beer to the price of gas. Enjoy, and may it help you make wise decisions.

There's been price comparisons between gas and other consumables for years. They are all fun, except for the simple fact, we don't consume as much of those products as we do gas.
Should we feel better than in comparison, a gallon of popular shampoo costs $28 a gallon? Only if you use a gallon of shampoo a day, and then my friend, you have bigger problems than the price of gas to worry about

I was thinking about the same thing concerning milk oddly enough. I average using about two gallons of gas a day for my commute to and from work. I can't think of anything else I use or consume two gallons of a day... (at least on a regular basis :) )Thomas wrote:There's been price comparisons between gas and other consumables for years. It's a gallon of gas, or a cold six pack
One goes in my tank, one comes in a sack
Makes life complicated when it costs the same
Hell it ain't no fun, to do without one
But I'll do a lot of walkin' if my motor don't run
It's a tough ol' choice to make if you know what I mean
It's either beer or gasoline
Lyrics from Chris Young, Beer or Gasoline
