I think I would vote for this one...
Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners at the airports. Have a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you.
It would be a win-win for everyone, and there would be none of this crap about racial profiling and this method would eliminate a long and expensive trial.
Justice would be quick and swift. Case Closed!
This is so simple that it's brilliant. I can see it now: you're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion. Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system, "Attention standby passengers we now have a seat available on flight number..."

It's not at all the same thing, as long as ALL passengers passing through the TSA point of entry have to pass through the booth. You are implying something I did not say, and it is unfair of you to do that.marksiwel wrote:if you're a witch you'll float if not you'll drown but be innocent

OK, let's form a corporation to design and sell the thing.
I can see it now, automatic spray to clean the walls, automatic sweeper to clean the remaining debris, hardened enclosure, electromagnetic pulse or other to detonate explosives (Announcement: Remember passengers, remove your watches and all other electronic devices from your person before entering the "scanner").

It's the opposite. The guilty die and the innocent live.marksiwel wrote:if you're a witch you'll float if not you'll drown but be innocent
To be effective, it also has to include aircrew, airport workers, deliveries, TSA employees, cops, diplomats, etc.The Annoyed Man wrote:It's not at all the same thing, as long as ALL passengers passing through the TSA point of entry have to pass through the booth.
