I am watching Fox 4 News out of Dallas and the FBI foiled an attempt to blow up the Fountain Place building in downtown Dallas today. A piece of the story goes the guy waited until 9-11 and after the Holy month of Ramadan before his attempt.
Too close to home!

I heard of this while listening to the Hugh Hewitt show in my car. He read that paragraph on the air that said:
According to the bureau, 19-year-old Mosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested and charged for attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.
...and said, "See that?
Another Irishman!!" I nearly drove off the road.

You mean he's an "undocumented bomber"? We need to get that man some aid and free medical care right away.
I'm glad he, and the other guy arrested in Philly were in no way "related to official terrorist organizations"... yeah right... how dumb do they think we are?

That can't be, not with our tight border security and immigration laws. I am sure he was just another peaceful Muslim here and he is misunderstood.

Did he have a permit to carry a bomb?
If he did, all the bomb antis will hold it against those with legal bomb carry permits.

Biggest problem was the building wasn't posted with the official "80.M8" posting! Of course that allows for Muslim bombers due to religious freedom for non-Christians ya know!

Let's see if I have this straight---the illegal immigrant came here explicitly t commit acts of terrorism. He is 19. He managed to get a job as a manager at a Sonic in Italy, Texas......Where did he get the documentation to work, being an illegal? I guess I'll contact his previous employer. I understand they have an opening.....since I have been laid off twice and aren't having any luck finding a job LEGALLY. Let's get EVERYONE in the loop finding out the enablers of this fool and charge them with conspiracy.....Apparently he was also discussing this in a Muslim extremist forum that is monitored by the FBI. They should be rounding up all these fools and putting them away.
First, of course, we must assume they are innocent until proven guilty, then we have to try them before a jury of their peers.......
Of course, this guy isn't necessarily the brightest penny in the bank..the problem really is that there are undoubtedly others out there that are a little more savvy.......

Illegally in the USA. Brought before a Federal judge this morning. Court appointed legal defense (tax payer expense).
This will be costly.

Well, I do think it is great that the FBI has mostly cornered the market on selling black market explosives.
It's gotta keep you on your toes as a terrorist when you can't really trust your suppliers.

Is anyone keeping count of the FBI apprehensions of suspected terrorists in the U.S. in the past 5 days? I count 4:
1. Dallas(Wells Fargo Bank)
2. New York/Colorado(who knows where)
3. Illinois (Courthouse)
4. Virgina (not sure of specifics)
It's getting scary. As Arnold says: "Be safe out there !"

The war on terror will not be short. The enemey is on the move right now, but they always are. Unsecured borders are a part of the problem, as are a myriad of other issues. The murders of 9/11 will not be the last innocent deaths in the war, we just have to keep our guard up, probably forever, because we're unwilling to take the necessary action to end the confrontation.
