I see Spike Lee apologized for tweeting the wrong address for Mr. Zimmerman.

More than that, he put their lives in danger. Inexcusable.

Case was dismissed......right?
He shoved an undercover officer, who had not identified himself as a police officer, in a bar when the officer tried to grab his friend. The officer then pressed charges, which were later reduced.

In 2008, in correspondence to the local sheriff's department, Zimmerman said he was involved three years earlier in an "altercation with an undercover officer that was taking part in a … sting for underage drinking" near a university. He was charged with battery of an officer and resisting an officer with violence. Court records show the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor of resisting an officer without violence. A judge ordered him to a pretrial diversion program.

Court records also show that a woman filed a petition for an injunction against Zimmerman that same year, citing domestic violence. According to the Miami Herald, the woman, who was his ex-fiancee, said they fought and engaged in a pushing match. Zimmerman also filed a petition, and a judge ordered the couple to keep away from each other for a year.

No bearing on this case, but this has resurfaced due to sentencing.

I had forgotten about this case from a few years back where two young British tourists took the wrong turn while walking late at night in Florida and were killed for their mistake.

The parents have complained that President Obama never replied to their letters.

I've noticed that Nancy Grace on HLN is doing a full Natalie Holloway for Trayvon. She smells police misconduct.

Not sure about that, but she, like so many others in the "mainstream media", seems to resemble another very old profession...

Rosanne Barr has joined the fray by twitting the parents of the shooter's address.

Unlike Rosanne Borr and Al Sharptongue, I find cicadas soothing.

How is it that Nancy Grace is still on the air? She has been wrong way too many times for me to come anywhere near her opinion.

I love the sound of cicadas. Reminds me of home.

Seeing who has picked a side based on rumors, instead of waiting for the grand jury to weigh the facts, all I can say is

BIRDS OF A FEATHER
FLOCK TOGETHER
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

CHL will be a big deal in this case. Here's how I see it playing out:

1. CHL helps the prosecution if it can proven that Zimmerman engaged in "pursuit & confront." That's a big no-no for a CHL holder.

2. CHL helps the defense if it is proven that Zimmerman only engaged in self-defense, since Zimmerman was issued a permit and legally carrying, the use of lethal force is reasonable.
