Asus RT-AC1200

https://www.amazon.com/Asus-RT-AC1200G- ... us+1200+ac

Great router. It can do anything you need. I have a 3600 square foot 2 story house with a dettached garage. I have no deadspots. I can easily max out my 100 megabit cable connection across wifi. I currently have 2 of them setup, one private network, one smart home automation network and one public network. I am currently running 82 smart home ip enabled devices, my alarm system, my video monitoring system, door locks, thermostats, garage door openers, 4 laptops, 4 smart phones, 2 ipads, AT&T microcell 4 computers, 1 Network attached storage, 4 DVRs, 2 web servers and one CISCO firewall/IDS/IPS.

No slowdowns everything works great. Copying from the NAS to a laptop I routinely get 45ish MB per second. Now obviously the laptops, phones and ipads are not all hitting the network at the same time because there are just two of us but all of the smart home and servers are running all of the time.

Same here.

I would stick with ASUS and get an ACxxxx.

:confused5 Nope. Didn't notice. I hate falling for old threads when they get resurrected.
