The pre 12/7 photos are very cool. Then they get sad.

That was fascinating, thanks for the link. I don't think I've seen more than one or two photos of the Arizona as she was before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
In addition to the ship itself, it was interesting to see the other elements of the era in which it was built. Heavy wooden timbers for scaffolding. Bowlers in the winter, boaters in the summer - on every man.

America was building stuff.
