...Siamese are bad about that...they can't just say "Thank you very much"...they have to attack you once they're satisfied...that's probably one reason you don't see many Siamese around...

That's odd. I've owned 4 Siamese cats, both traditional and modern, and have never got that impression. In fact all of my Siamese were/are the most people friendly and have never bitten anyone. Now, the exception is the occasional "love nip" which is common to all cats

So I'm scratching its back and the cat's loving the heck out of it, doing contortions to get just the right scratch angle and all that. And then, out of the blue, it turns around and bites my hand! WHY!?
My guess: a lot of cats are very sensitive along there spines, especially towards the back, and especially older ones. The difference between "that feels good" and "ouch" is not very great sometimes.

Or maybe he just thought you needed to be bitten. ;-)

My cat knows he owns the place. He doesn't ask, we just have an understanding.

Just for the record, I don't hate cats. They're too furry for that. But they seem to have a bone to pick with me. And I've been nothing but nice to them, I promise.

Seems you picked the Siamese kitten page. Here's the "generic" kitten page from the same web site. Same advice. Perhaps it was you that found the defective ones, or they find you tasty ;-)
