Re: 17y/o Killed By Neighborhood Watch/CHL
Even with all the new "facts" that are being introduced almost daily, the media is still very one-sided. On the news this morning, they are still using the poor little innocent kid picture and stating how Zimmerman shot this unarmed child. While he may have been unarmed, he was far from a child, and he seemed to be well armed with a surprize attack and a sucker punch. I am positive that I would have done the same in this situation if someone was on top of me and beating me. I am sorry for the Martins in that they lost their child, but I am more sorry for Zimmerman that he has lost his life over the shear stupidity in the way the media has treated this situation.

The special prosecutor says she is going ahead without a grand jury. I'm not familiar with Florida law. What happens if the grand jury goes ahead without her and no bills Zimmerman?

Think about that one....is "coon" a racist term likely to be used by a young racist today? That's a term from my youth. Zimmerman is what, 28? I have heard racist use of the N word even recently, but it has been a long time since I've heard anyone use the term "coon" outside an old movie. And in the racial context, let's remember another couple of facts about Zimmerman omitted by the media (and the lie of omission is their favorite propaganda technique): he's a registered Democrat; 2) he campaigned for justice on behalf of a black homeless man who was abused by the police (giving the police a motive to reject his story and charge him).baldeagle wrote:This should be the touchstone of every discussion of this case. The media has lied so often and so blatantly, that it's impossible to know if the other "facts" they've asserted are true or just more lies.VMI77 wrote:All I've seen is the repeated media assertion that Zimmerman "followed" Martin, and since they have been shown over and over again to have lied about this incident, there is no reason to accept their characterization of what Zimmerman did.
NBC edited the Zimmerman call to the dispatcher to make him appear racist by removing the dispatcher's question: "OK, is he white, black or Hispanic?" so that his answer, "He looks black" comes out of nowhere.
ABC posted a grainy video of Zimmerman being delivered to police headquarters in handcuffs with blaring headlines proclaiming he had no injuries. They later enhanced the video and "discovered" his injuries.
CNN "discovered" a racial slur in the Zimmerman call only to later "discover" that it was "cold" not "coon" and then eventually determined it was neither, it was "punks".
All major networks have consistently posted a picture of Trayvon taken when he was 12 years old and a picture of Zimmerman when he was 7 years younger and at least 60 pounds heavier.
The lies in the reporting of this case have served to severely exacerbate tensions in the black community to the point where people are tweeting about riots if Zimmerman is not found guilty.

Found out that Florida grand juries are a political expedient. The prosecutor has the option to use them or not. I also found out today that some states don't even have grand juries.recaffeination wrote:The special prosecutor says she is going ahead without a grand jury. I'm not familiar with Florida law. On the side, NBC is being sued for their blantant manipulation by editing the 911 tape to make it look as if Zimmerman was a racist and they are facing investigation and or charges for inciting civil unrest. That would be good news and should send a message to these intestinal termination points they call "press".

I certainly hope that happens and the charges stick.Dragonfighter wrote:On the side, NBC is being sued for their blantant manipulation by editing the 911 tape to make it look as if Zimmerman was a racist and they are facing investigation and or charges for inciting civil unrest. In FL a grand jury is only required if it is a capital case.Dragonfighter wrote:Found out that Florida grand juries are a political expedient. The prosecutor has the option to use them or not. I thought earlier someone showed that it was in the Bill of Rights to have a grand jury. Is this kind of like the second amendment.jmra wrote:In FL a grand jury is only required if it is a capital case.Dragonfighter wrote:Found out that Florida grand juries are a political expedient. : a crime judged infamous because it constitutes treason or a felony,
So he won't be charged with a felony?
He has apparently gone missing per his "legal advisors". They have said he is not in Florida. This would mean he would have to be extradited, to be returned to Florida to face trial.
Just suppose he is in Texas, a place where he might have many friends and supporters, as some have suggested. If he was not indited by a grand jury would this be grounds to block the extradition?

For what its worth, ABC is reporting that his legal "team" quit today. Apparently he isn't returning their requests for communications.philip964 wrote:Definition of INFAMOUS CRIMEG26ster wrote:Fifth Amendmentphilip964 wrote: I thought earlier someone showed that it was in the Bill of Rights to have a grand jury. You can't get much more infamous than Zimmerman in the MSM today. Not since Richard Jewell maybe.

Prayers sent to Mr. Zimmerman... and thank you for your service.
Re: 17y/o Killed By Neighborhood Watch/CHL
Thank God! Hopefully he will get a good spot in line for the death penalty!
