Could be. It's about the right distance from Islamabad.
Pretty substantial looking digs. And here we thought he was living in a cave.
Wonder what the neighbors thought some 30 hours ago when the best-of-the-best swept in and cleaned up?

Maybe I'm being a little too dooms day'ish but this scares me.
As glad as I am that he is out of the picture I can't help but put myself in a position to think that I could be at another ground zero.
I mean...we killed the super muslim....the radicals are going to be livid!!
And being a medic in the Dallas area I know full well that if something happened in downtown that I would be in the middle of it....and thats just not where I want to be. I can see retaliation as a very real possibility and when revenge is the agenda I wouldn't be surprised if they tried something that made 9/11 look like a paper cut.
Here in Tx we have two major targets....Dallas and Houston. Lets not forget Fort Sam Houston, Fort Hood, Fort Bliss, Randolph AFB, Lackland AFB, Sheppard AFB, Fort Worth NAS, Dyess AFB, Goodfellow AFB, Laughlin AFB and all the Naval and Coast Guard bases on the coast.
Do I think we'll have am enemy troop on the ground situation here? Not necessarily but hey, anything is possible.
All I know is that Texas as a state has desirable targets all throughout. If you think you are safe then think about where you live and your proximity to any one of the places I listed above.
Sure Al Qaeda won't try to storm the beaches in Tx so to speak because if they did they wouldn't make it very far. But who are they allied with? What about possible new allies that don't really care for Al Qaeda but are willing to pool resources to try to take out the evil American empire? Iran? Pakistan? NBC weapons?
I've been told I over think things and sometimes worry too much but this is just whats going though my mind.....

The raid was carried out jointly by 20–25 helicopter-borne United States Navy SEALs under the command of the Joint Special Operations Command in cooperation with the CIA. According to Obama administration officials the information about the raid was not shared with Pakistan before the operation.[15] Pakistan was notified of the operation after it was successfully completed.[16] While the operation was conducted entirely by the U.S. forces,[17] as per Pakistan foreign ministry, Pakistan ISI officials were quick to claim they were also present at the time of operation, and have called it a joint operation.[14]
The SEALs stormed the compound at approximately 1 a.m. local time[18] and engaged bin Laden and his men in a firefight.[19] The raid lasted about 40 minutes. Three other male adults present at the compound were also reportedly killed in the operation, including an adult son of bin Laden.[20] Osama bin Laden was shot in the head.[21] The helicopter they used to breach the mansion walls suffered a mechanical breakdown and could not fly the soldiers out. The SEALs burned the helicopter to secure intelligence[11] and carried out bin Laden's body on foot.[22]
The other two males were reported to be couriers for bin Laden. A woman was also reported killed in the operation; according to an unnamed U.S. official, one of the adult males had tried to use her as a human shield.[23] Two other women were injured.[24] Karachi's Geo News described a helicopter crash and "heavy firing" on the evening of May 1 "near the PMA Kakul Road".[25] The exact location of the compound is marked in Google Maps.[26]
Details of the raid as it was observed from a distance were tweeted by a resident of Abbottabad, who did not know what was happening.[27]
According to a U.S. official on May 2, bin Laden's body was handled in accordance with Islamic practice and tradition,[28] and was buried at sea soon after death, in accordance with Islamic tradition.[29][30][31]
