It can't be "home made", it must be brand that a CHL Forum Member can buy.Jasonw560 wrote:Depends who ou talk to. Mass produced, or home made? Pork or venison or beef?

In that case, I would say V&V. It's in every HEB here and is awesome for a mass produced sausage. Opa's runs a close second.WildBill wrote:It can't be "home made", it must be brand that a CHL Forum Member can buy.Jasonw560 wrote:Depends who ou talk to. Mass produced, or home made? Opa's is good. I like Earl Campbell's. Not great, but okay.

In the Beaumont area - - - Zummo's. They have been making sausage for years.
Now what about Boudain? My vote goes to Nick's in Port Arthur for a market made product and DJ's in Beaumont for mass produced.

Re: Best Texas Sausage
There is a little meat market in Weimer called Kaspers. They make some of the best sausage I've ever had.
