Depends who ou talk to. Mass produced, or home made? Pork or venison or beef?

Got some stuff at Sam's that's good. Forgot the name.

In that case, I would say V&V. It's in every HEB here and is awesome for a mass produced sausage. Opa's runs a close second.

Opa's is good. I like Earl Campbell's. Not great, but okay.

In the Beaumont area - - - Zummo's. They have been making sausage for years.

Now what about Boudain? My vote goes to Nick's in Port Arthur for a market made product and DJ's in Beaumont for mass produced.

There is a little meat market in Weimer called Kaspers. They make some of the best sausage I've ever had. :thumbs2:
