Mr. Cotton said something ( Our members are great folks! Help always seems to be there for the asking.

Chas.)that gave me the idea for this thread.

Texaschlforum.com has helped countless number of people, some more than once and twice an... you get the idea. Now everyone post how this forum (by that i mean it members) has helped you.

1. Gave me a waiting room to wait for my plastic
2. I found stores that are 30.06 posted
3. Found other websites for other cool stuff.
4. Is the closest substitution to hitting the range.
5. and most recently, I have had help in switching instructor class dates.

lets hear it :bigear:

1 Gave me a place to pass the time while waiting on my plastic.
2 Taught me about a lot of real world situations so I could learn what to expect when certain things happen.
3 Great advice on ammo, guns, and holsters.
4 Helped me get a lot better understanding of CHL laws.

1. Helped answer a legal question I had about CHL qualification.
2. Helped me to understand how the CHL processing worked while I was waiting.
3. Learned how cool 1911's are.
4. Learned how to use a public restroom with my CCW.

Many other tidbits too extensive to list.

This has got to be the only forum on the Web that you dont have to sift through a bunch of people posting meaningless and rude dialect!

Kudos to the moderators that keep every one in line!

Esp to KeithB. I feel like moderating my posts can be a full time job. I owe that guy a beer or sno cone.

I'll echo Giga's comments... I've met some really good folks via this forum. And the most impressive thing is how it's well maintained and moderated to keep out the trash talk. Thumbs Up!! :cheers2:

Mmmmmm, beer sno cones!!! :cheers2:

Thanks gigag04. You are not a problem (most of the time.) ;-)

In all honesty, moderating this forum is a labor of love because of our great members. Overall the folks here are very well mannered, respectful and always willing to help out their fellow forum member. Sure, members slip up now and then, but we just issue them a warning when it happens. 99.9% are non-repeat offenders. If they get too bad, they end up being banished from the tribe; a lot like on 'Survivor'!!! :biggrinjester:

In all sincerity from me, a big thanks to Charles, the other mods and all the members for making this forum a great community and place we can all share and enjoy!! :tiphat:

TexasCHLForum.com has ...

1. Given me a friendly place to chat with like-minded Texans
2. Drastically increased my knowledge of CHL laws, best practices, and legislative issues
3. Inspired me to seek my CHL Instructor certification so that I can pass along my devotion to RKBA to others.
4. combined with the "Obama scare", pushed me toward expanding my gun and ammo collections, giving me infinitely more enjoyment out of the shooting hobby
5. Introduced me to some truly wonderful, down-to-Earth patriotic Texans, whose knowledge of all things RKBA continues to be a treasured resource .... including a real estate client whom I just finished helping buy his first house ... http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=34784" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

TexasCHLForum.com has ...

1. Caused me to spend WAY MORE $$ on firearms than I had ever expected...
2. Helped me learn the intricacies of the law and how it is not so cut and dry...
3. Caused me to run far, far away from any OC argument (which sometimes causes me to run in circles "rlol" )
4. Made me wonder how the heck USA1 has posted so much in so little time ;-)
5. Caused me to be a little less productive @ work... :coolgleamA:
