Hmm - just reviewed this picture and remembered my custom emblem on the front grille...

I guess I'm a sports car people. I've been a member of the Sports Car Club of America since 1976.
I've autocrossed many weekends of those years, and road-raced since 1996. I'm getting pretty lazy about that the last few years.
Daily driver is a 2007 Shelby GT Mustang, or a 1998 BMW Z3.
If it's rainy, I'm in my old pickup.

Dear goodness, Rex B, if my son caught a look at the RX7 of yours, he'd be moving in. He loves road racing and autocross and has been looking for someone to show him how it's done!

T Lynn, if you are near DFW, drop me a PM. There's a race this weekend in Cresson.
Otherwise, I can hook him up in your area.

This is what he needs  (its for sale):

Well I'm not much of a go fast guy just because I can't afford it. I do however fix up old trucks. I'm currently working on three.

First is a true military vehicle. It's a 1986 M1009 CUCV. It was introduced to the military as a cheaper alternative to the HMMWV. Many are being sold at auction now by the government. I got mine for less than a grand with 19k miles on her. Many mods so far.

My next fixer upper is a 1984 Toyota FJ60. 284k miles on it and still runs good and everything is tight. A few mods so far and I'm looking at dropping a diesel in her. Also looking at some bumpers and a lift kit.

The last truck I currently own and work on is a 1986 Chevrolet 2500 Diesel 4x4 Suburban. I got it from the forestry service for right at a grand. Runs good and has about 60k miles on her. This one has my soon to be bride on the hood.

My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

My son drives a Pontiac G8 GT with a 6.0 liter LS2/LS3 motor. That thing is a sleeper. Looks like a daddy car, but it is stinkin' fast.
