Keith, now all we need is for you, Jill, Mike, and everyone else to hire out to set up in shopping centers, store parking lots, and airports, and do nothing but ground burns.
There was an enormous Grackle in my yard yesterday, monopolizing the bird feeder and chasing te Cardinals and Finches away, so I took my airsoft gun and just popped a shot at him, no aim, just to chase him off. He took off from the feeder just as I fired, and flew directly into the path of the BB (I'm not that good of a shot). I saw the BB bounce off, so I'm sure he wasn't hurt bad, but he sure did squawk and dodge. I wonder if that's the last we'll see of him. He also knows that the dogs can't get to him, so he sits there and harasses them.
