Chicago homeowner CHL fired on catalytic converter thieves who pointed a gun at him. It did not say if he was arrested. It did not say if he will have to pay for the car they sideswiped as they left in a hurry. It did not say if the DA is reviewing the case for prosecution of the homeowner.

This happened in July 22. No further action noted on an IL gun forum I frequent. It did say police detained a juvenile who showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound related to the case.

A shooting near a shopping center in Willowbrook, Illinois, early Sunday left at least 20 shot and one dead, according to authorities, in what witnesses describe as a Juneteenth celebration turned violent.

Deputies patrolling near Honeysuckle Rose Lane and Route 83 heard numerous gunshots shortly before 12:30 a.m. and responded to an area where "a large gathering" was happening, DuPage County Sheriff’s Deputy Chief Eric Swanson told reporters at the scene.

Swanson said preliminary witness and victim reports indicate at least 20 individuals suffered gunshot wounds, and confirmed that one victim has died.

The location is only 14 miles west-southwest of Chicago proper. A different report stated that it seemed to have been two different groups of individuals (shame on us if we ever use the word "gang") involved, shooting at each other, and about 60 rounds were fired in a 30-second period.

But the problem with gun violence in Chicagoland isn't unchecked gangs, it's the fact that Indiana has less strict gun laws.

Mom and 14 yo son arrested for murdering hot dog vendor. Mom told the son to shoot the hot dog vendor.

Mom and son now released from prosecution for insufficient evidence even though cell phone and or surveillance video shows the events.

Mom is now suing the city for malicious prosecution and emotional distress.

Mom is a CHL. Mom was I believe punched in the face by the hot dog vendor. But it’s all confusing to me what really happened.

any way..if you cant get an ATF pass to own a firearm legally, how can these people be a police?

if the illegal kills a real citizen can the state be sued for wrongful death by giving criminals GUNS to police people and kill them?
