I think the discussion happens after every election just like ending daylight savings time.

States shouldn’t have to throw all their votes to a single candidate, whether their citizens vote for him by the thinnest margin imaginable or overwhelmingly.
This one line shows how stupid the NY Daily News reporter and editorial board are. First, states do not have to throw all their votes to a single candidates and two states do not give all of their votes to whoever won the state. Obviously, since they propose changing the way it is done, they must know this first clause is a lie.

Second, their proposal is to force states to give all of their votes to whoever wins the national popularity contest we call an election. This is without regard to whether it is a narrow margin or a landslide, one of the things they complain about. Second it totally ignores how the people in their state vote. Suppose Texas adopted this policy and every single vote in Texas went to the Libertarian candidate, but a Democrat won the national vote. They want the Texas electoral votes to go to that winner anyway. While this is an extreme example, somehow that doesn't make any sense to me.

The need to apologize to us Texans invalidates his argument. And who cares what anyone else in the word thinks about the Electoral College?

The left pulls this argument our whenever they have nothing else.
"The rest of the world has free healthcare. Why don't we?"
"The EU has open boarders. We should too."
You get the idea.
Well suppressors for firearms are unregulated in most of the world and you are considered rude if you don't use them.
This will often shut them up.

Considering what's happened over the last 4 years, Biden probably already has more & better intel than President Trump.

If Biden gets sworn in (still have hope he doesn't) that day our American flag is coming down. We plan on using the "don't tread on me" flag in its place.

striker55 please reconsider. The American flag represents our country. Please fly the Gadsden flag under it. Then let's all step up to take back the country with words and actions to make our surrounding communities better, with conservative values. When President Trump was elected it was disgusting to see the "not my president" signs. God bless, if for some reason Trump gets another term but if not, I have my job cut out for me to better educate those around me to the better way of life of being a conservative. (I have confidence everyone will see for themselves that Democrat/progressive ways will quickly drag us down)

Thanks for that. Link to the full McLaughlin & Associates full poll results here: https://mclaughlinonline.com/pols/wp-co ... 4-20-4.pdf; PDF file.

Something else to keep you up at night: Thinking ahead to the 2024 primary election for President, who would you be most likely to vote for if voting in the Democratic primary? #1: Michelle Obama; #2: Kamala Harris; #3: Pete Buttigieg; #4: Andrew Cuomo; #5: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Oh, and this: "Who do you blame MOST for Rioting, looting and unrest in our cities?" People who voted Trump: 81% blame Democrats. People who voted Biden: 72% blame Republicans. And the only age group that both blame looting on Republicans and voted Biden (57% to 41%)? Under 40. They were also 28% unaware of the Hunter Biden scandal; the only age group to believe that election fraud was perpetrated by Republicans rather than Democrats (59% to 41%); the only age group that thinks Biden would do a better job with the economy than Trump (52% to 49%); the only age group that thinks Biden would do a better job than Trump of restoring law and order (53% to 47%); and the only age group that favors larger government over smaller (60% to 40%).

Not to be ageist or anything, but the under-40s are the future leaders of our country. It seems the radical liberalism of our educational institutions is coming to fruition.

Only the democrats could pick a vice president that is more of a threat to the constitution than the president. They made sure republicans wouldn't try to get rid of him the way democrats tried with Trump.
