Hm. Been watching the news umpteen hours a day, but evidently missed this one. I saw that Amazon had put priority on "essential" items, which impacts some small sellers, but I hadn't seen this.
I pay a small monthly fee for Amazon Pantry free shipping. Found it a simple and easy way to buy various nonperishables we use regularly, generally a little cheaper on a lot of items and don't have to worry about lugging stuff from the supermarket.
I expected that Amazon Pantry would have a lot of things out of stock right now, but I logged on to see if there was anything on our usual shopping list left. But every search for stuff in Pantry came up with no results. Then I found this:

Pantry is temporarily closed. We're busy restocking.
Due to high order volumes, Pantry is not accepting new orders at this time. This means that items listed as “Ships & Sold from Pantry” cannot be added to your cart. We apologize for this inconvenience, and are working with our partners to get these items back in stock as quickly as possible.
Evidently, Pantry was shut down last Friday. So if you can find single items otherwise on Amazon, you can order them...just not through Pantry. No statement about refunding us our March payment for Pantry membership.
