hey guys I am curious in knowing how many of y'all are hotshot drivers? I have been driving for 4 years now. I drive a pick-up with a pipe-rack.
I was thinking of starting a forum specifically for hot-shoting in Houston. Is that something any hot shot drivers would be interested in having?

Someone who hauls smallish cargo loads, a load that would be more of a hassle for an 18 wheeler. The typical
vehicle is usually a two axle dually, preferably w a flat bed.
Re: Hot Shots in houston
Partially correct. a hot shot is when a load needs to get there quick, from point A to point B, and depending on the cargo, any size vehicle may be used from pickup truck to tractor trailers.pushpullpete wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 8:50 pmSomeone who hauls smallish cargo loads, a load that would be more of a hassle for an 18 wheeler. Yes its legal, most companies require that you have 1,000,000 in liability and 100,000 in cargo insurances.most hot shot companies pay for it and charges thier drivers a fee you only need a CDL if you are hauling more than 26000 pounds
