Re: Not watching the Superbowl
I hope NFL comes crashing down hard due to lack of viewers and former supporters of the game. After the game i will see who their sponsors are and not buy anything they sell if at all possible.

I have to sort my sock drawer that day so I will not be watching.

You are not alone. Kickoff is at 5:30pm central time. The local indoor range near my house is open until 8:00pm on Sunday. It sounds like an ideal use of time to put in a couple of hours at the range instead of watching a bunch of overpaid infantile ingrates body-slamming one another after protesting against the national anthem that eulogized the nation which affords them the freedom to be crapulent pissants.philip964 wrote:Am I alone?

Re: Not watching the Superbowl
I'm done watching them and will never watch them again, even if they somehow apologize for the petulant, overpaid children on the field. The NFL _tolerated_ rampant disrespect to the country that feeds their engine. No thanks. Never again.
I am also taking a pretty strong mindset to the sponsors of the NFL starting next year (advertising contracts typically go year to year, so I'm giving advertisers for this season some slack). If somebody is advertising next year, I intend to avoid giving them my money wherever possible.

Re: Not watching the Superbowl
I'm not watching, It's not so much that I am boycotting it's that their actions disgust me and the sport is no longer enjoyable. I am boycotting crappy beer advertisers. Or am I? I don't drink watered down Clydesdale urine anyway,
Kinda funny I mentioned in a Facebook group that I wouldn't be watching. I got criticized for denying the football players their 1st amendment rights especially with a monicker of "Liberty Spirit". The irony of their criticism was hilarious from snowflakes who admittedly never watch the NFL anyway.

Re: Not watching the Superbowl
I decided to boycott the NFL this year. Really doesn't mean much though since I haven't watched more that a couple of quarters of NFL per year, other than Thanksgivng, for 20 years. I did not not watch on Thanksgiving this year though!
