The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

So we should just immediately ask for her supervisor when we call?RPBrown wrote:Unfortunately my grand daughter works in customer service at 6 flags.
Now this kid is 16 years old and this is her first real job.
She was being yelled and screamed at all day yesterday because corporate made the stupid decision to remove the flags.
As much as I disagree with the decision, come on folks, these are kids, and they had no input whatsoever in the decision.

Now I wonder if they'll also remove the offending coffee mugs, refrigerator magnets, etc. in the Six Flags gift shops.

Complaining politly is probably the correct thing to do. Yelling and screaming at a person who had nothing to do with the decision is just plain wrong.Soccerdad1995 wrote:So we should just immediately ask for her supervisor when we call?RPBrown wrote:Unfortunately my grand daughter works in customer service at 6 flags.

I saw this in another forum also. I commented then how I would no longer ever visit Six Flags, to the loss of my grandchildren. I deplore the moral cowardice involved in this change. I could have supported it if they just corrected their flag display to show the actual flag that flew over Texas, instead of the one causing the uproar. They could have removed the battle flag and put up the national flag of the Confederacy, the Stars and Bars. I would bet that none of the liberals who are protesting the battle flag would even know what the new flag was. They are too wrapped up in symbols to know what history really is.

The worst part is the fact that it was the stars and bars that they used. Give it a few years though and the re-writers will talk about how they flew a NAZI flag along side the battle flag and that they would execute minorities in the streets of the park lol.srothstein wrote:I saw this in another forum also. I agree with that. Complaining politely yet firmly is definitely the way to go. If you take it too far and avoid voicing your feelings because the company representative is sympathetic is also a mistake. But unfortunately people are people, not machines, and if you are the face of the company when the company does something stupid you will unfortunately get the brunt of people's anger and frustration.Liberty wrote:Complaining politly is probably the correct thing to do. When I was a teenager I had several jobs that involved customer contact (telemarketer, cashier, etc) so I was used to people reacting negatively toward me. That is one reason I chose a different line of work now. My own 17 year old daughter went even further and chose to be a soccer referee. She also gets plenty of abuse, but seems to be handling it much better than I ever could. Needless to say, I don't go to the games she referees.

Why not do as I did, contact corporate and complain directly to the ones that made the decision. Not to a 16 year old girl working the ticket booth.Soccerdad1995 wrote:So we should just immediately ask for her supervisor when we call?RPBrown wrote:Unfortunately my grand daughter works in customer service at 6 flags.

For what it's worth, she quit today because of that decision.

I'd guess a good part of our liberal oriented citizens are professional protesters, travel on weekdays and get to work on weekends.TreyHouston wrote:Ya, no way these libs are going to argue any holiday! The way to handle it is by calling those who made the decision. I hate to hear she quit because the darkest room needs the brightest light.RPBrown wrote:Why not do as I did, contact corporate and complain directly to the ones that made the decision. Re: Six Flags is history...
Is the NFL going to boycott Six Flags now that they're flying a half dozen of those "racist, oppressive" US flags?
