Got a call from Carter yesterday.....
C: We'd like to schedule you to donate blood.
Me: Call me when you take down your 30.06 and 30.07 signs.
C: I understand. Thanks.
Me: Bye.

I've toyed with trying to give blood on the buses, particularly if there are no signs. My concern is that I've sent several letters and left voice messages with Carter, recommending that they change their policy. They know who I am as soon as I arrive and I wonder if my name is flagged for my opposition to their sign policy. I don't want to generate a situation where i'm asked to leave. That would really torque my jaw.

For now, I'm standing firm - as long as the signs are up in their sticks and bricks locations, I'm a non-donor.

I would bet the coaches don't post signs, I actually build the things for a living and there is almost no room in, on, or under one that is not taken up by some type of equipment. We usually have to come up with creative ways to even make room for everything the companies want in them.

Again we have the most law abiding citizens in Texas being restricted from performing a public service ( I assume you don't get paid ) because.... why?? I would treat them like any other business ( which they are ) and not be a customer as long as they have an irrational policy.

Apparently, they want more than your blood...what presumption.

I'll keep my blood and they can keep their 30.06.
