Texas CHL Forum ---- very slow

#1

Post by Teamless »

Ever since the updated website/forum, the forum is running awfully slow.

When I say slow, let me explain.
historically, when I would try to open the website, it would open in 1-3seconds
now, more than 15 seconds

When I click on any links/threads/etc, another 10-15 seconds to open, where historically, almost instant.

is it me?
or is it all of us?

Yes, same here - 15-30 seconds for most page loads. I've also had to log in quite often on my iPad (but not on my laptop).

Slow for me as well, both desktop and iPad.

Just wanted to add, noticeably slower than before the upgrade.

It's slow on my system too.

I think we're looking at a server end issue.

I opened my web browser about 5 this morning and clicked on the forum. I literally had time to walk into the kitchen, pour a cup of coffee and walk back to see the forum finally coming up. This on a computer with 300GB hard drive with 5 gigs of RAM!

Remarkably slow. Pages open 4-5 times slower than they did previously.
