So at the house of blues in Dallas, they have " the unlicensed possession" sign and 30.06 signs that don't appear to meet the requirements. Is it not conflicting to post both or is it a requirement at an establishment that sells alcohol?

The blue TABC "unlicensed possession" sign is required if they sell alcohol, irrespective of anything else.

As long as this property is not owned or leased by a government entity, then they can choose to post 30.06 and/or 30.07 signage. From your post, it sounds like they have chosen not to post either of those signs, so any LTC holder should be fine to carry there.

They posted signs on 8-1/2x11 paper.

Yes, I heard you the first time that they do not have a 30.06 or 30.07 sign posted. Those signs have specific requirements and those requirements are either met, or there is no 30.06 / 30.07 sign. There is no such thing as an "invalid" 30.06 sign. It would just not be a 30.06 sign at all.

I kinda thought that was what you meant.
