The site is great and I'm looking forward to to full beta app.

I have a couple of suggestions, users should be able to go into the post and update a posting. One example is I made a post about a cinema posting only 30.07, I went back to the cinema a month later to find they also posted an invalid 30.06. I added this in the comment section. If we were able to update the posting ourselves and let the admin approve it this would save y'all time.

Last one is allow us to upload pictures to the website and not have to use a 3rd party site. This would eliminate pics being deleted when we clean out our photobuckets, I'm guilty of this as well. Great website, thanks for working hard to make it better.

I appreciate the hard work you guys put into both the website and app. People can be quick to criticize anything these days. the information the app gives now would be enough to justify me dropping a few dollars to keep it going. I look forward to the next iteration.

Thank you for the hard work. I think having the app as a reference when out/about is awesome. And when the time comes to be able to submit, that will be great. No complaints here. Thank you again for your hard work.

If I am correct isn't this what is called the agile methodology, pretty popular in the dev community. Anyway Russell don't sweat the small stuff.

Also, here are a couple of video previews of what's to come. One video shows submitting a new entry, the other shows adding a comment to an existing entry. As short as these videos are, and as simple as they look, do know a lot of hours went into making these things happen. Russell put in a lot of hours performing Black Magic on the Server Side, Arthur has some kick @$$ iPhone Wizardry Skills, and I do my thing on the Android side. It's not quite ready for a public beta just yet, but it will be Soon™. Enjoy the videos!

Russell,

Some people are thoughtless, graceless, and self-centered to the point of narcissism. If you paid them to use your free app, they would complain that you don't pay them enough. The world is full of people like that. They often vote democrat.

If he doesn't give you any followup feedback with a more apologetic attitude, tell him "Fine! Don't use the app then!" Better yet, don't dignify the attitude with an answer. Live well. That's the best revenge.

Russell,

Don't sweat any comments you get. This app is the bomb. You've all done a great job of making the site very valuable to us over the years, and now that you've made it more portable, all the better.

Of course, we'll continue to send you upgrade ideas when they come to us, and you should feel free to do with them as you see fit. If you like the idea and it is feasible, then feel free to pursue it. If (a) you think the idea is bad, or (b) think the challenge is more than you want to take on, then we'll get over it.

Now then again, if you can find one that credits me $2 for every sign I report, and an additional 50 cents for every comment that I add...now THAT would be an upgrade I'd pester you for!

I downloaded and like the app sure there are some things that could be improved but it's the first version and you told us on here it was going to evolve. What you have going is good keep it up and don't stress the haters.

Yes. Search for Texas 30.06 in the Google Play store.

How exactly are the proximity alerts suppose to work? Does the app have to be open in the background or does the setting just have to be turned on? I was inside of a 30.07 location for over an hour and it never triggered. I even turned my location settings to "high accuracy" just to be sure, and nothing. My setting was also set to 1 minute to trigger and event without anything happening.
