Question on the checklist/photos needed?

Applied on line, just had my finger print/photo done but do I need to send in the photos?

On my Barcoded check list, it lists 2 passport photos so I had them made when I was finger printed

But I also have a Texas drivers license and on the new CHL-6 form, dated 06/2013, it says:
DPS will utilize applicant’s Texas Driver License or ID photo on file. This form should only be submitted if the applicant does not hold a Texas Driver License or ID card.

So do I send then in or not?

I would save them. They will try to use the DL photo but if the digital quality is bad you can send the good passport photos later.

I recently received a business card insert with my CHL that reads/states:

"Enclosed is your Texas Concealed Handgun (CHL). This notice only applies to a Texas Driver License or Texas Identification holder. The Texas Department of Public Safety is now utilizing your photo on file. This enhancement is for security purposes and efficiency measures. For questions or more information about CHL, please visit our website at http://www.dps.texas.gov" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"
