I plan on going to an event at the Travis County Expo in a coupple weeks. would I be allowed to carry? I is NOT a sporting event. the event is 4 days long and I will be sleeping in a tent on the grounds. will be a BYOB event, so will have some drunk people each night.
If and when I start drinking the gun will be unloaded and hid in saddle bag.

that would be it! when the drinking starts, clothes start coming off so the gun would be in the saddle bag!

I've often wondered how the Keep Austin Weird/Alternative Lifestyles Crowd, interact with those who truly do live an alternative life style.

Working for an oil company and riding a motorcycle on the weekend is an alternative lifestyle now?

the Keep Austin Weird/Alternative Lifestyles Crowd will just have to tolerate a bunch of hard drinking, hard partying group of bikers !!

I was referring to the 1% crowd who do lead an alternative life style in my question. Many of the same attend the Republic of Texas Rally, numerous articles and photos have been published that illustrate that fact. How the Austin Weirdoes react to such a group would make for an interesting study, given their progressive freedom loving stance.Lucky wrote:Working for an oil company and riding a motorcycle on the weekend is an alternative lifestyle now?
That's not you, working for an oil company and riding a motorcycle on the weekend is not an alternative lifestyle in Texas.
