I don't remember signing that legal document when I took the class.Maxwell wrote:You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class
You're right. however I knew the law, just not the specific statute.... I lost it between all the IDF I have been receiving here in Afghanistan, I will try to do better!gringo pistolero wrote:I don't remember signing that legal document when I took the class.Maxwell wrote:You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class
For the application yes, but not the class, and if somebody is going to nitpick the law they should know the difference.
If you did the paper application you signed 2 affidafits that had to be noterized. One of those said you were taught & understand the law.gringo pistolero wrote:I don't remember signing that legal document when I took the class.Maxwell wrote:You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class

I don't remember what I filled out online, but I am sure the online version had a spot where you were doing your electronic signature as well. e.gringo pistolero wrote:I don't remember signing that legal document when I took the class.Maxwell wrote:You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class

Only when the LEO requests identification. But once asked, yes, we must show both and state-issued picture ID (usually a DL).tommyg wrote:I clearly remember being told in class that we must show a LEO a CHL and Drivers License when carrying
This isn't arfcom....I bet the question could've been answered more politely...maybe?Maxwell wrote:I would recommend you print it off every year and reread it on a regular basis. You signed a legal doc stating you read and understood this when you took your class and the question you asked is one of the most basic there is. My Friend, you need some study time.
