Is there a way to verify that you are eligible for a CHL? I've been arrested a few times for not paying tickets and driving while license suspended/invalid. I just want to make sure everything is good to go before I pay the money and they say no. No felonys on my record but I do believe I have been on deferred adjudication. Where can I get the information I need to make sure I fill the criminal history portion of the application out correctly?

You can access your own criminal history from the Texas DPS website. You have to pay for it but it can be done. You can always go to the courthouse in the county you were having legal issues with and get certified copies of your cases and dispositions too.
