Fight back with improvised weapons. Yes, because I'd prefer improvised over actual.
The scene at 0:56 was more than a little ironic don't you think?

It's funny, I noticed it right away and then I saw your comment after the fact. Maybe the BG figured it didn't apply to him since he clearly did not have a handgun.

They needed to post a red 51% sign ... that would have done it. Oh... and a gun buster too. They were just too light on signs!SQLGeek wrote:It's funny, I noticed it right away and then I saw your comment after the fact. Really?Sometimes bad people do bad things
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)
... tyrants accomplish their purposes ...by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. - Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840

I was just noticing that! It was at about :59. Do you think they noticed the sign?SQLGeek wrote:Fight back with improvised weapons. Yes, because I'd prefer improvised over actual.

I will give them this: If this were a California film, it would say to run, hide, and beg for your life and cooperate with the bad guy. At least this one tells people to be ready to fight if necessary.

I agree. I have to give them a little credit for including "fight" as part of the strategy. No where but Texas what they include that. The Annoyed Man wrote:I was just noticing that! That being said... it's still made by a bunch of idiots in government on the left who 'don't get it'.

I think it was the lack of unlicensed carry sign. I'm sure that would've done it.Scott in Houston wrote:They needed to post a red 51% sign ... that would have done it. Oh... and a gun buster too. Notice how they show the BG walking right past the 30.06 sign....

It would be interesting to show this video at close to the start of a new CHL class with discussion and then show it again at the end of the class to see if the students see the sign (with discussion).
