Florida permit CHL classes in the Dallas-Ft Worth area?

#1

Post by juliana25 »

Does anyone know of a class in the DFW area for FL permit?
I am wanting to take the Fla CHL class as I am moving to WA state and they don't accept the TX CHL, but do take FLA. I am driving up there and want to take my gun in the car.

THe 2 I have found that do, Family Gun (Brad) and Curtis at another website aren't doing classes currently.

Any other ideas?
Thanks!

Take the Texas Hunter Safety course required for a hunting license. It qualifies for a FL CHL.

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/learning/hunter_education/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cost is $15 for the free online course and 1 day skills class.

Even if he does, it's not valid in Washington State, but if he has a copy of his CHL-100 then he can use that for his Florida application.

Another option is to shoot an IDPA match and send a copy of the match results as "documentary evidence of experience with a firearm obtained through participation in organized shooting competition" :fire
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.
