Unfortunately, not yet. There are a couple of actions initiated for a change but none have resulted anything that would help us.

I'm watching this situation closely as it of great interest to me.

No action yet give to the NRA and avoid Army Corps land while carry

Here's a question. If I'm carrying and driving on a bridge that crosses over a Corps lake, am I in violation?

Hmmmm. The other owner of Signal Surplus is a Park Ranger for ACE. We were in New Mexico a few weeks ago and he said they received orders that it was not legal but on the way to being so. I will give him the link to this and let him weigh in. He has a username here.

Hello all, I am a Ranger with the USACE in Tulsa District. At this time there have been no changes to the regulations or policies concerning concealed carry on Corps of Engineers property. There are 2 bills in committee addressing this issue. SB 1588 and HR 1865. Try these two links; http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:h.r.01865: and http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:s.01588:. I myself am for passing it. :rules: Most of our campers keep firearms in their trailers, heck I would if I was out camping. It wouldn't hurt to contact your Senators and Reps. and voice your opinions. :fire

That may be true......Even in ALL locations where the 2nd is infringed....BUT........

If you are unlucky enough to have to use your gun on the AOCE Property you will be charged with a FELONY and you will be Prosecuted and Convicted!

Yes, hopefully you will still be alive and that IS the main thing......BUT....

You will never LEGALLY own a firearm again in your life!

Which lakes are under Corp. laws?
Does anyone have a list somewhere. We will be staycationing this year
in Texas and it would be some helpful info.

Thanks
