Best way to mail your forms and photos in?

I was wondering what is the best way to send your forms and photos to the state? Do you guys recommend certified mail so that you know it is received and it gets there faster? Or, do you recommend by just regular standard mail? Thanks

Definitely send it certified with a return reciept so you will have confirmation that it was received.

Standard mail has always worked for me. My first application I sent certified and it didn't speed anything up. After that regular First Class got it there just fine. It's your choice.

Doesn't get there any faster or speed up the process but you know it was received and when. The receipt will just have a DPS mailroom stamp on it but you know it reached them and is in their possession. That allows two things, 1) you know it didn't get lost by the USPS, and 2) you know when the DPS got it. That way if there is any hangup you know which side of DPS it is on.

For as many students as have come back to us for replacement paperwork after DPS "didn't receive, lost, or couldn't find it", we always say "Send it Certified!"

It may be a small percentage, but if it happens to you, it effects you 100%!
