Got My Plastic!
Woohoo! Came in the mail Friday, same day as my Crossbreed holster.
I had to take my wife to interview for a nursing job in Frisco that afternoon, so I decided to explore the local IKEA. Only gun related sign I saw was a gunbuster type logo on the side of the door at the entrance with a statement something to the effect of the store being a "weapon free environment". I was pretty self conscious about carrying/printing, I guess you get used to it though.

You will get over the printing. I have read it here and GT many times. Most people have NO clue...and the ones that do, are carrying.

Re: Got My Plastic!
Congrats!
I've thought about saying it's something for my colostomy bag and that they probably don't want to know details. Figure that would stop the conversation real quick. :)
Btw, it's not official until you do the wal mart walk.

Isn't it a rule that you have to do a Wally Walk first or you have to start the CHL process all over again?

So did you make the 3 hour trek from Terlingua to Fort Stockton for yours? =)Terlingueno wrote:Isn't it a rule that you have to do a Wally Walk first or you have to start the CHL process all over again?

Re: Got My Plastic!
About feeling strange: I went to the grocery store today and forgot to take a weapon. Felt really wierd, like, darn it, this is the time something bad is going to happen, and I'm not prepared for it. After a couple of years, you will know what I mean.

There are exceptions to the rule depending on how far away the closest Walmart is, right?
