Hello all,
I'm new to the forum. Took my class just this last Saturday. Filled out the online application that night and after inputing all of my payment info, the next screen said error. Now I know it went through because I got the famous barcode email and the money has been taken out of my account, but because I got the error page, it didn't give me an Application # to put at the top of the Photo Holder. I checked the FAST reciept, but it's not on there. Any idea on where else I can find this or am I stuck calling DPS which hasn't answered the phone or returned my message I left? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Application ID
Sounds like you are stuck calling them, or better yet, emailing them at chl@txdps.state.tx.us

Re: Application ID
If you need an application number for the top of the photo holder, you have a REALLY old version. You don't need that anymore, and the photo holder does not hold the photo anymore. The photos should go in a sealed envelope.
Here is the latest version: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/InternetFo ... /CHL-6.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Application ID
So, you guys think I can just leave that space blank and go ahead and send it in? I just don't want to have them return it because it needs it and be that much longer to get my license. I guess that I'll probably get a faster response sending it in than waiting for them to call me back!
Thanks everyone.
