Where is "control" defined?

I'm trying to find it in the Penal code and cannot.

I don't know of a Penal Code definition, therefore it is interpreted according to common usage. As Wildbill said, there could well be case law on point.

If it adds any insight to it, the word is used in the definition of possession.

PC Sec. 1.07 a (39) "Possession" means actual care, custody, control, or management.
