I am Active Duty Army and a Veteran and I just moved to Texas. I have a Georgia CHL. Do I have to take any classes or am I good to go? I just want to make sure so that I dont get myself or my Company in trouble.

Welcome! I'm retired USAF myself.
Yes, Texas will honor your Georgia license. You might want to consider getting a TX CHL, or at least attending a class.
The laws for each state are different, so you will learn a lot. If you do decide to apply for a Texas license, you can get a 50% discount by sending in a front & back copy of your ID card.
Again, welcome!

Active duty gets you the Texas CHL for free!
All you need to pay for is the class. It doesn't get any better than that!

I misread the info. Of course, you are 100% correct.

Welcome to Texas!
Here's a good Texas info site to peruse so's you can ease on in:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=texas" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I was born at Fort Benning in '44 and moved to the Austin area in '59. Love it more than any other place I've been.

Lucky you, being active duty and in Georgia for a while... I've always been envious of how simply being AD military there is the equivalent of having a GFL. And welcome to Texas!
