Re: glock 30 carry
The Glock 30 should be pretty easily concealed seeing as how it's essentially a sub compact .45 Glock. I carry a Glock 23 daily, which is larger than your gun, in a custom holster made by David of Little Bear Holsters. I would highly recommend him for high quality custom made holsters.

Re: glock 30 carry
I'm similar to your size and I carry my G30 in either a smartcarry or Comptac MTAC

Re: glock 30 carry
Congrats on your plastic! I have tried a variety of holsters for my Colt Commander .45 and for my H&K USP .40, but my favorite form of carry by far is my 511 Tactical Vest. I bought the vest over the internet, and when it first arrived, I was afraid it would be way too conspicuous and I did not even try it out for a while. One day, just for the heck of it, I put it on for a walk and I was sold, especially when I walked into a Wing Stop where 5 officers were sitting around a table and none of them gave me anything more than the slightest glance. I just came back from an out of town trip and wore it through several airports (no gun of course, but a very handy way to carry passports, cash, etc.) and no one even looked at me twice. When I am not at airports and actually carrying, I can take a full sized handgun, a couple of extra clips, and a Bug if I want, all which I can carry comfortably and not worry about being detected. I know wearing a tac vest 7 days a week might not work for a lot of people, depending on their occupations and lifestyles, but for me, the vest has been the best solution. Just my two cents. Enjoy your first walk!

Excellent weapon. It is my choice for daily carry. I may have to try a Crossbreed Supertuck, though. Sounds great.
