Great LEO contact today

I was stopped for doing 64 in a 55. My bad, I really thought it was 65.
Anyway, the dps trooper was great. Just glanced at my permit, asked where my weapon was and gave me a warning.
I always try to give them extra TLC when they or there families come in for surg or if I see them in the ER. Although, I had never seen this trooper before.

Did he know you were a Dr or nurse?

In the 9 years I've had my CHL, I have been stopped twice. Neither time did the officer do more than give a cursory glance at my CHL and hand it right back. Both times I received a warning, and both officers were very professional and courteous.
I'm not saying a CHL is a "get out of jail free" card (like in monopoly), but it does seem to ease some of the tension for the officer.
Glad your "stop" turned out well.
P.S. My daughter is currently in school studying to be a "CRNA".

Not to be confused with a CNA, which is waaaaaaay down the pay scale from CRNA.

No, he did not know I was a CRNA. Although my insurance papers have Dr. on them(not medical doctor), he did not ask for them.
Your daughter is entering a great profession. Is she in a doctorate program or masters? As of 2015, a DNP will be required for entry level CRNA.

Doctorate.
I believe there are several changes in store by as early as 2010. And while we're throwing numbers around, I'll interject some "CHL" content to keep this legit......."I love my 1911"!

10-4 on the 1911 and P7, but we can't neglect the S&W 36, 37, 29, 57, 58, and 27. Thought I would throw that in since I will not be 10-8 tonight.
(How is that for numbers??)
