I got carded for ammo by the cashier 1 day and showed them my CHL because it is in the fromt of my wallet with my DL behind it. I got a really funny look then she asked to see my DL.[/quote]

My reply is SO off-topic, but I must share.

In 1981 when I returned home from Okinawa, I only had my military ID card, and an Okinawan Driver's License (all Japanese characters except name, and no picture) for identification. I stopped in a department store and attempted to pay for my purchases with a Traveler's Check. The pimply faced dweeb behind the register asked for ID, so I produced my DD Form 2AF, and he looked at it like it was in Martian. So he asked me for my driver's license. When I whipped out the Okinawan license, he started to sweat and bellowed for a manager.

The only thing that would have made it more fun would have been if I needed the dweeb to count out change.

Ah, good ol' wally world

So can you tell where I'm concealing? Squatting and still no printing.
Image

I'm 5'10", 130 lbs chick. Proving you cannot see even with my arms raised up pretty high.
Image

Back at the ammo, awaiting associate to assist.
Image

Crawling around on the floor looking at Zune accessories
Image

Just to give some perspective on how long the lines were this evening, I went to where the register is and my partner in crime remained at the back of the line to snap the photo.
Image

Totally bored while standing in line, I decided to take a pic of the front of me from my angle to show that I still don't print.
Image

Okay, here's where I was concealing...
Image

And this is how
Image

I was having so much fun I decided to stop at Walgreen's on the way home just for a double whammy. Let's just say, the Walgreen's in my neighborhood can try anyone's patience.
Image

And for some light humor to end my post. I was thoroughly enjoying the B.O. items available at the local Walgreen's so I thought I would post the pic that it doesn't matter if your carrying, you can still have some fun. (No I did not purchase these items.)
Image

edit: Oh, I did use the restroom too but fortunately for everyone there are no photos of that.

WOW! Remember when?...

Remember when there was actually ammo to look at in Wal-Mart???......

That is an intriguing handgun/carry style that you have there.

1. Is that an extra long grip with enough overhang that it hangs on your
jeans' waistband without a holster?

2. What brand and model of revolver is that?

I went thru three different Wally Worlds last night looking for ammo. None found. :???: But that was three parking lot walks and three check outs. Spent a total of about an hour in the three locations.

I also had to go thru a Kroger and an Academy.

Somewhere in between I sold an AK in the parking lot of Dicks Sprorting Goods.

Does that count?

Soooo THAT'S where the term "WallyWalk" came from! :clapping:

I almost fainted when I saw a completely stocked up, stuffed to the gills, display case full of ammo.

to Mods: Can we make this a sticky? This is a classic!

And many thanks to skinnyB78 for the pics that made this thread most enjoyable. And to you Badger531 for resurrecting this thread! ;-)

We really should make this a sticky! There are so many new guys here that have never heard of the Wally Walk - not to mention we have not seen nor heard of a recent Wally Walk...

Have not seen a Banana Pic either! Keep your finger off of the banana trigger!!! :anamatedbanana

I took my Wally Walk this Monday. Didn't have a camera, and couldn't buy ammo (wasn't any left on the shelves), but Wally Walks are still being completed. :tiphat:

I drove on the wrong side of the road when I first got back. Cop pulled me over, saw the ex beating me upon the head and shoulders and asked what was up. I told him I just got back from Okinawa, he laughed and told me to let the wife drive for a few days.
