It takes guts to say something like that during a campaign, but he's just guaranteed my vote.

It appears to have happened in February - I'm just surprised that it was kept quite for this long.rgoldy wrote:What I find annoying here is that he did not have sense enough to keep his mouth shut about it.
Now the forces of darkness (Bill White campaign) will be beating him like a drum over it from now until elections.

I've been tempted to get one of the plastic training guns, a real barrel, and a lock to do something like this:

This woman must be lying about screaming during the attack.
Besides, if you scare them away from adults, they'll change to looking for kids:

I guess I thought no one could logically complain about someone shooting a wild animal to protect their pet...... but I was wrong. What was he supposed to do, cross his fingers and hope for the best?03Lightningrocks wrote:Libtards make me want to puke! You weren't wrong, they aren't complaining logically.PSLOwner wrote:I guess I thought no one could logically complain about someone shooting a wild animal to protect their pet...... but I was wrong. Takes all kinds I guess.
I'm pretty sure that you cant shoot them city limits (as most cities have ordinances restricting this type of thing), and I don't think you can blow them into a million pieces with dynamite either. A combination of the two is definitely a no no.chabouk wrote:I didn't think you needed anything other than a Texas hunting license to kill any coyote, anywhere, any time, by any means. Was I wrong?
You are right, city ordinances prohibit shooting them in the city limits (hunting them anyway).CaptWoodrow10 wrote:I'm pretty sure that you cant shoot them city limits (as most cities have ordinances restricting this type of thing), and I don't think you can blow them into a million pieces with dynamite either. But, if you are not hunting, but as The Gov was doing, out with his dog, and a Coyote comes up and starts to attack, am I legal to shoot it?Keith B wrote:prohibit shooting them in the city limits
Yes, state statutes allow the use of deadly force to protect livestock or domestic animals. Not so say you may have some 'splainin' to do to the police, but it is legal.Teamless wrote:But, if you are not hunting, but as The Gov was doing, out with his dog, and a Coyote comes up and starts to attack, am I legal to shoot it?Keith B wrote:prohibit shooting them in the city limits
