Disarming at Seaworld, San Antonio was not enough

Quick question about Sea World...

Is it still 30.06 posted? By posts here it suggests yes it is; however, Texas3006.com has a moderator edit stating "It has been noted that the 30.06 signs may have been removed." We are going to be there tomorrow...want to know what to expect.

Most likely you were profiled because of your family wearing scarves. It's sad to say but with what is going on around the world and what the media portrays people with scarves and head covers, tend to attract attention even if they good law abiding citizens.

First, I was asked why I am carrying. I said I am not and my firearm was in the vehicle and as matter of course I displayed my CHL/DL. Then, I was asked why I am carrying ammo in magazines. I responded, is that a problem? And, why I cannot carry ammo? Short answer, I am not allowed to have ammo inside the park.

If I had a loaded AR magazine in the thigh pocket of my cargo pants, I bet they wouldn't be too happy.

Same thing at the courthouse. Even though I have no gun they won't allow mags for my AR pistol. What's up with that?
