Absolute pride and appreciation -- that she is assessing the tactical environment, making note of exits, cover and concealment, and preparing to situate herself with a complimentary field of fire and view. I can't say how nice it is to have a life partner who has my back.

My wife knew I was getting my CHL a while back, but doesn't know I carry everywhere. Funny thing, my kids know I have my firearm on me at all times. ;-)

We both have our CLH, but she doesn't carry unless I "strongly suggest". and that only happens when she is going out with her friends to a move and dinner.

She has carried mine while I have a beer with dinner on a night out, nice to have that option.

We took the class at the same time, and every time I buy a new gun she buys one or two also. Her favorite is named Ruby Ruger a SP101 with CT grips.
