Tarus 738 with a stainless slide. Never thought I would get a 380, but the ability to throw it in your front pocket is too easy

agreed. i've never really thought much about getting a .380 but after shooting my wife's P238, i just might get one for myself. fits perfectly in my front pocket in a pocket holster.

Re: What did Santa bring Kholster promo code

Post by bernie-attorney »

Well, it wasn't strictly for me, but Santa brought a 'Crescent' left-handed model Kholster tuckable for Christmas for my CZ-82 (who was very good all year -- and cleaned the CHL test target back in November). I had researched and it seemed that they were the only one I could find that made a tuckable for the CZ-82, and they were very reasonably-priced. I ordered it on 2 Dec, the site said I shouldn't count on a pre-Christmas delivery, but it got here a couple of days before. Any company that, as here, (reasonably) under-promises then over-delivers is always a favorite of mine.

It fits fine, standing/walking/sitting, after adjusting it for the cant and depth that seems to feel best to me -- now if I could only get the new leather to stop creaking as I move around . . .. I suppose that'll fix itself in time.

Anyway, if anyone needs a rebate code, the one that came with the holster to pass along was 11-11370. It'll get you 10% off, rebated after your holster ships, I think. I'm a rifle guy mostly, so I doubt I'll be taking advantage of the 'referral' person's rebate, but no reason someone else shouldn't benefit from the deal Kholster offers. I'm very happy with the CZ-82: ambi safety and mag release for this lefty, fits my hand well, and I can get good results, so why buy anything else (and then the mags, and then the different ammo, and then the holster(s) . . .)?

Well, as is his usual m.o., Santa did not bring me anything for Hannukah this year. So, I took care of this minor problem by going to GT's this morning with a friend. I had to talk a little to get their display gun, but I picked up a Mossberg 100ATR (bolt action, 22" barrel) in .308. It comes with a scope, bipod, and sling and goes for only $419.99.

So, I picked up a soft case and three boxes of ammo and walked out the door with only $601 on the credit card. Of course, they threw in some freebies, such as a 3" Schrade lightweight folding knife and a coupon for 10% off the next purchase.

It is not what I was looking for (Remington R-15 in .450 Bushmaster) but the price was a heck of a lot better and they had it.

I'm a little late to this topic but the family just left this morning. :hurry:

Before Christmas I had a stripped lower, bolt, and charging handle. I now have all the components to finish my AR15 build with the exception of handguards. (My daughter gave me carbine length versus mid-length handguards.) Now I just need time to put it all together.
